  1. Assistant General Manager +
      Job Summary
    • The Assistant General Manager will assist the Senior General Manager in ensuring quality assurance, efficient operations and effective delivery of MY World Child Care programmes and services accordance with legal requirements and the Company’s goals and philosophy.

      The Assistant General Manager will work closely with Operations Managers and Principals in long-term planning, development, delivery and operations of programmes, services and projects. Providing leadership to Curriculum Team in ensuring the development and maintenance of high quality curriculum content.

      The Assistant General Manager will maintain regular contact with ECDA/ MOE and other relevant agencies with regard to standards and other pertinent issues, disseminating information regarding relevant standards or policy changes.

    • Requirements
    • Degree/ Masters in Early Childhood Education - At least 10 years of working experience in the early childhood sector
    • Ability to handle diverse tasks simultaneously - Possess excellent presentation and communication (verbal and written) skills, as well as problem-solving and negotiation proficiencies.
    • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and motivational skills
    • Thorough knowledge of the rules, regulations and standards involved in operating a child care centre as set by the ECDA, SPARK (Accreditation Framework) and other regulatory bodies
    • Knowledge of financial and budget management
    • Ability to work independently and under pressure, think analytically and be responsive
  2. Curriculum Specialist +
      Job Summary
    • The Curriculum Specialist will assist the Senior General Manager in ensuring responsibility for the over-all planning, designing, research, and development of MY World curriculum content and maintaining of high curriculum assessments.

      The Curriculum Specialist will work closely with Operations Managers and Principal Mentor, Principals and Educators in reviewing and assessing internally and externally produced preschool curriculum framework and resources for effective implementation.

      The Curriculum Specialist will maintain regular contact with ECDA/ MOE and other relevant agencies with regard to standards and other pertinent issues, disseminating information regarding relevant standards or policy changes.

    • Requirements
    • Degree/ Masters in Early Childhood Education - At least 3 years of curriculum design, development and implementation experience or equivalent combination relevant experience
    • Ability to handle diverse tasks simultaneously - Possess excellent presentation and communication (verbal and written) skills, as well as problem-solving and negotiation proficiencies.
    • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and motivational skills
    • Thorough knowledge of the rules, regulations and standards involved in operating a child care centre as set by the ECDA, SPARK (Accreditation Framework) and other regulatory bodies
    • Ability to work independently and under pressure, think analytically and be responsive
  3. Principal +
      Job Summary
    • The Principal ensures the leadership, management and delivery of quality curriculum and that the daily operations, financial, human resource and management of the centre are carried out effectively.

      The Principal works closely with Operations Managers, Development Manager, Senior Principals and Curriculum Specialists as a supervisory team to improve the overall quality of MY World child care service. The Principal plays a vital role in the coaching and mentoring of the centre’s staff in growing and developing their skills and competencies.

    • Requirements
    • Degree in Early Childhood Education - At least 3 years of working experience in the early childhood sector
    • Ability to handle diverse tasks simultaneously - Possess excellent presentation and communication (verbal and written) skills, as well as problem-solving and negotiation proficiencies.
    • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and motivational skills

  4. Vice-Principal +
      Job Summary
    • The Vice Principal shall be responsible for the effective and efficient operations of a child care centre in accordance with ECDA requirements and MY World’s goals and philosophy, and to work as a team to improve the overall quality of service and care of MY World.

      The Vice Principal will demonstrate through knowledge of the rules and licensing standards involved in operating a child care centre as set by ECDA. Plans, set-up and evaluates the learning environment to meet the children’s developmental both as group and individual.

      The Vice Principal will assist in planning, organizing and supervising of programmes, excursions, celebrations and outings, etc and leads the implementation of school initiatives and duties.

      The Vice Principal will provide guidance and regular feedback to each staff on work performance and conduct. Mentoring and supervises new staff and arrangement of staff roster. Actively participates in staff meetings. Coordinates training and developments of teachers in the centre.

      The Vice Principal establishes warm and personal contact between parents for the benefit of staffs and children. Regularly observes, assesses and compiles the development and progress of individual children into reports for parents. Ensures open and positive communication with parents through letters, newsletter, etc.

      The Vice Principal will attend to enquiry and visits of potential child care parents, visitors, ECDA officers when Principal is not available. Actively support Company Services and other corporate and fund-raising projects.

    • Requirements
    • Degree in Early Childhood Education - At least 2 years of working experience in the early childhood sector
    • Ability to handle diverse tasks simultaneously - Possess excellent presentation and communication (verbal and written) skills, as well as problem-solving and negotiation proficiencies.
    • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and motivational skills
    • Thorough knowledge of the rules, regulations and standards involved in operating a child care centre as set by the ECDA, SPARK (Accreditation Framework) and other regulatory bodies
    • Coaching and mentoring staff to develop new skills/ competencies and identifying training and development needs.

  5. Educator, Pre-K / Para Educator +
      Job Summary
    • The Educator and Pre-K/ Para Educator conducts themselves in an ethical manner, upholding principles and practices of Early Childhood. They plan, prepare and conduct holistic activities that address all areas of a child’s development: social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual. Possessing positive values and character traits, they are a good role model for children.

      The Educator and Pre-K/ Para Educator take initiative to develop and sustain good teacher-parent relationship by maintaining close contact with parents on a regular basis. They work with individual children’s families to understand their expectations and involve them in setting goals for the children.

    • Requirements
    • Diploma in Early Childhood Education

      Job Summary
    • The Educarer plays an active role in providing care, guidance, developmental and positive experiences to children under her care. She assists the Educator in planning and implementing education programmes for children zero months to 18 months of age.

      The Educarer is a role model to children who demonstrates and fosters positive attributes in children.

    • Requirements
    • Diploma in Early Childhood Education
    • Ability to meet deadlines and handle diverse tasks simultaneously
    • Strong communication (verbal and written), problem solving and negotiation skills
    • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and motivational skills

  7. Infant Educarer +
      Job Summary
    • The Infant Educarer plans and carries out day-to-day developmental and care giving tasks for infants and toddlers aged 2 months to 3 years. She attends to the care-giving aspects of children in their health, hygiene and safety needs, and makes decisions and acts in the best interests of children with respect for their fundamental rights.

      The Educarer is a role model to children who demonstrates and fosters positive attributes in children.

    • Requirements
    • Higher Certificate in Infant Care or equivalent.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal and motivational skills
    • Ability to work independently and under pressure
    • Proactive and a good team player
  8. Cook +
      Job Summary
    • The Cook is responsible in preparing all the meals for the children and staff of the Centre based on the approved menu from the Health Promotion Board requirements for healthy eating.

      The Cook complies with ECDA’s hygiene requirements for food preparation and kitchen cleanliness, and ensures that the kitchen and dining areas are clean and well maintained at all times. When necessary, she helps in maintaining the cleanliness of other areas in the premise.

    • Requirements
    • Enjoys preparing nutritious meals and snacks for children and child care staff.
    • Good knowledge and practise of food hygiene and food preparation.
    • Well-organised, possess good initiative and a friendly disposition.
  9. Cleaner +
      Job Summary
    • The Cleaner ensures the cleanliness of the whole Centre is kept up to standards at all times. She also assists the teachers in bathing and serving the children their When necessary, she helps in the cooking and maintaining of the kitchen.

    • Requirements
    • Physically fit and well-organised
    • Possess good initiative and a friendly disposition.
