  1. Head of Operations +
      Job Summary
    • The Head of Operations will assist the Senior General Manager in the following:

      Responsible for quality assurance, efficient operations and effective delivery of MY World Child Care programmes and services in accordance with legal requirements and the Company's goals and philosophy. Provide leadership to Operations Managers and Principals in long-term planning, development, delivery and operations of programmes, services and projects. Provide leadership to Curriculum Team in ensuring the development and maintenance of high quality curriculum content. Maintains regular contact with the ECDA / MOE and other relevant agencies with regard to standards and other pertinent issues, disseminating information regarding relevant standards or policy changes.

      Essential functions

      1. Provide leadership in overall planning, implementation and delivery of MY World programmes and services, namely:
        • Goals setting and budget planning
        • Manpower planning and professional development
        • Spacing planning and operations
        • Quality assurance and SPARK accreditation
      2. Ensure that annual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by ECDA are met
      3. Ensure that programmes and services are congruent to the achievement of SPARK accreditation.
      4. Ensure that all SOPs are clearly communicated and implemented at all centres.
      5. Work with the Curriculum Team, Operations Managers, Principal Mentors, Principals and Educators in reviewing and assessing internally and externally produced preschool curriculum framework and resources for effective implementation
      6. Work with HR team to develop effective ways to attract and retain staff
      7. Source or conduct continual professional development (CPD) courses/ workshops and mentoring programmes to keep professional staff abreast of appropriate teaching strategies, and ensure proper implementation of MY World curriculum and other related programmes
      8. Assist Operations Managers and Principals in public presentations (sharing with stakeholders and conferences)
      9. Convene Focus Group meetings/ Town Hall Meetings which serves as platform for the discussion, feedback and analysis of issues concerning child care operations
      10. Any other projects and responsibilities as assigned.

    • Requirements
    • Degree / Masters in Education / Early Childhood Education
    • Knowledge of subject matter, pedagogy, and curriculum design
    • At least 10 years' working experience in Early Childhood sector
    • Thorough knowledge of the rules, regulations and standards involved in operating a child care centre as set by the ECDA, SPARK (Accreditation Framework) and other regulatory bodies
    • Ability to meet deadlines and handle diverse tasks simultaneously using prioritization
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  2. Cluster Manager +
      Job Summary
    • The Cluster Manager is responsible for the efficient operations and effective delivery of MY World Child Care services in accordance with legal requirements and the Association's goals and philosophy. The Cluster Manager works with Principals to ensure that all SOPs are clearly communicated and implemented at all centres. The Cluster Manager provides leadership to Principals in long-term planning, development, delivery and operations of the preschool programmes and projects. The Cluster Manager works with the Curriculum Specialists, Principals and Educators in reviewing and assessing internally and externally produced preschool curriculum framework and resources for effective implementation. The Cluster Manager maintains regular contact with the ECDA / MOE and other relevant agencies with regard to standards and other pertinent issues, disseminating information regarding relevant standards or policy changes.

    • Essential functions
      1. Provides recommendations and guidance on issues related to child care by analysing enrolment figures, financial data, programme evaluation, and other information to identify trends, opportunities and potential problem areas.
      2. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of licensing and SPARK requirements. Works with Curriculum Specialists and Principals to ensure centres are in compliance with these requirements. Visits centres regularly and conducts site evaluations and audits. Oversees day-to-day operations of centres that need assistance and attention.
      3. Provides leadership for overall coordination, administration, implementation, management, evaluation and review of:
        • child care services
        • enhancement programmes
        • policies and procedures
      4. Identifies the collective and individual professional development needs of the child care staff. Provides in-service workshops for staff. Provides orientation for new staff.
      5. Maintains good working relationship by serving as MY World liaison with government agencies, training agencies and community partners.
      6. Provides leadership in setting up new centres:
        • Application of license and grants
        • Recruitment of staff
        • Set up the physical environment eg: learning centres, purchasing of resources
        • Conduct orientation for new staff
      7. Ensures centres meet annual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by ECDA under the Anchor Operator Scheme.

      Requirements
    • Degree / Masters in Early Childhood Education
    • At least 10 years' working experience in early childhood sector
    • Thorough knowledge of the rules, regulations and standards involved in operating a child care centre as set by the ECDA, SPARK (Accreditation Framework) and other regulatory bodies
    • Ability to meet deadlines and handle diverse tasks simultaneously using prioritization
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and motivational skills

  3. Human Resource Executive +
      Job Summary
    • The HR Executive is responsible for providing effective and timely administration of the full spectrum of the HR processes and service-oriented business support including but not limited to the following: Recruitment & Work Pass, Administration Training & Development Compensation & Benefits, Workplace Health Program & Staff Wellness Human Resource Integrated Solutions and Other HR Administration

    • Requirements
    • At least three years of relevant experience in full spectrum of HR function
    • Good knowledge of local Employment Act and Labour Law
    • Good knowledge of Work Permit application process
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills
    • Effectively Bilingual and enjoy meeting and interacting with people
    • Eye for detail and well-organized in managing workflow, documentation and filing
    • Proficient with MS Office applications
    • Knowledge of Times Software would be advantageous
  4. Curriculum Specialist +
      Job Summary
    • The Curriculum Specialist will assist the Senior General Manager in ensuring responsibility for the over-all planning, designing, research, and development of MY World curriculum content and maintaining of high curriculum assessments.

      The Curriculum Specialist will work closely with Cluster Managers and Principal Mentor, Principals and Educators in reviewing and assessing internally and externally produced preschool curriculum framework and resources for effective implementation.

      The Curriculum Specialist will maintain regular contact with ECDA/ MOE and other relevant agencies with regard to standards and other pertinent issues, disseminating information regarding relevant standards or policy changes.

    • Requirements
    • Degree/ Masters in Early Childhood Education - At least 3 years of curriculum design, development and implementation experience or equivalent combination relevant experience
    • Ability to handle diverse tasks simultaneously - Possess excellent presentation and communication (verbal and written) skills, as well as problem-solving and negotiation proficiencies.
    • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and motivational skills
    • Thorough knowledge of the rules, regulations and standards involved in operating a child care centre as set by the ECDA, SPARK (Accreditation Framework) and other regulatory bodies

  5. Principal +
      Job Summary
    • The Principal ensures the leadership, management and delivery of quality curriculum and that the daily operations, financial, human resource and management of the centre are carried out effectively.

      The Principal works closely with Cluster Managers, Development Manager, Senior Principals and Curriculum Specialists as a supervisory team to improve the overall quality of MY World child care service. The Principal plays a vital role in the coaching and mentoring of the centre’s staff in growing and developing their skills and competencies.

    • Requirements
    • Degree in Early Childhood Education - At least 3 years of working experience in the early childhood sector
    • Ability to handle diverse tasks simultaneously - Possess excellent presentation and communication (verbal and written) skills, as well as problem-solving and negotiation proficiencies.

  6. Vice-Principal +
      Job Summary
    • The Vice Principal shall be responsible for the effective and efficient operations of a child care centre in accordance with ECDA requirements and MY World’s goals and philosophy, and to work as a team to improve the overall quality of service and care of MY World.

      The Vice Principal will demonstrate through knowledge of the rules and licensing standards involved in operating a child care centre as set by ECDA. Plans, set-up and evaluates the learning environment to meet the children’s developmental both as group and individual.

      The Vice Principal will assist in planning, organizing and supervising of programmes, excursions, celebrations and outings, etc and leads the implementation of school initiatives and duties.

      The Vice Principal will provide guidance and regular feedback to each staff on work performance and conduct. Mentoring and supervises new staff and arrangement of staff roster. Actively participates in staff meetings. Coordinates training and developments of teachers in the centre.

      The Vice Principal establishes warm and personal contact between parents for the benefit of staffs and children. Regularly observes, assesses and compiles the development and progress of individual children into reports for parents. Ensures open and positive communication with parents through letters, newsletter, etc.

      The Vice Principal will attend to enquiry and visits of potential child care parents, visitors, ECDA officers when Principal is not available. Actively support Company Services and other corporate and fund-raising projects.

    • Degree in Early Childhood Education - At least 2 years of working experience in the early childhood sector

      The Educator takes initiative to develop and sustain good teacher-parent relationship by maintaining close contact with parents on a regular basis. They work with individual children’s families to understand their expectations and involve them in setting goals for the children.

    • Requirements
    • Diploma in Early Childhood Education

    • The Infant Educarer plans and carries out day-to-day developmental and care giving tasks for infants and toddlers aged 2 months to 3 years. She attends to the care-giving aspects of children in their health, hygiene and safety needs, and makes decisions and acts in the best interests of children with respect for their fundamental rights.

      The Infant Educarer is a role model to children who demonstrates and fosters positive attributes in children.

    • Requirements
    • Higher Certificate in Infant Care or equivalent.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal and motivational skills

  11. Trainee Educator +
      Job Summary
    • The Trainee Educator plays an active role in providing care, guidance, developmental and positive experiences to children under her care.

      She will assist the Educator in planning and implementation of education programme for children from 18months to six years of age.

      She is a role model to children, and believes in fostering positive attributes, explicitly and implicitly by example in the classroom.

    • GCE ‘A’ / ‘O’ level with B4 in English or IELTS 6.5

  12. Trainee Educarer +
      Job Summary
    • The Trainee Educarer plays an active role in providing care, guidance, developmental and positive experiences to children under her care.

      She will assist the Educator in planning and implementation of education programme for children from 2 months to 18 months or from 18 months to 3 years of age.

      She is a role model to children, and believes in fostering positive attributes, explicitly and implicitly by example in the classroom.

    • Requirements
    • Complete secondary 4 Education with a credit in English or IELTS 5.5
    • Attained an average SOA 5 in WPL
    • Ability to work as a team
    • Good interpersonal skills

  13. Allied Infant Educarer +
      Job Summary
    • The Allied Infant Educarer assists in planning and carrying out day-to-day developmental and care giving tasks for infants and toddlers aged 2 months to 3 years.

      She attends to the care giving aspects of children in their health, hygiene and safety needs.

    • Minimum Primary 6
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal and motivational skills

  14. Administrative Assistant+
      Job Summary
    • The Administrative Assistant performs reception and administrative duties of the Childcare Centre,
      has good knowledge on the enrolment requirements,
      and to assist the Centre Principal in handling parents' enquiries.

    • Requirements
    • Minimum 3 GCE ‘O’ Level with credit in English
    • Computer literate, especially in MS Office
    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Good in administrative work
    • Effectively bilingual
    • Book-keeping / Accounting certificate would be an added advantage
  15. Cook +
      Job Summary
    • The Cook is responsible in preparing all the meals for the children and staff of the Centre based on the approved menu from the Health Promotion Board requirements for healthy eating.

      The Cook complies with ECDA’s hygiene requirements for food preparation and kitchen cleanliness, and ensures that the kitchen and dining areas are clean and well maintained at all times. When necessary, she helps in maintaining the cleanliness of other areas in the premise.

    • Enjoys preparing nutritious meals and snacks for children and child care staff.
    • Good knowledge and practise of food hygiene and food preparation.
    • Well-organised, possess good initiative and a friendly disposition.
  16. Cleaner +
      Job Summary
    • The Cleaner ensures the cleanliness of the whole Centre is kept up to standards at all times. She also assists the teachers in bathing and serving the children their When necessary, she helps in the cooking and maintaining of the kitchen.
