
Grace rejoined Metropolitan YMCA on 1 July 2011 as Chief Operating Officer. She holds a Bachelor of Business (Honours) specialising in Marketing from NTU, and a Graduate Diploma in HRM (Prudential Assurance Award) in 2006 as well as the LKY Management of Non-Profit Organisations (NPM21) in 2013. Grace was the Owner Representative with United Overseas Land, DGM of Sheraton Suzhou Hotel & Towers and Pan Pacific Suzhou from February 2008- February 2011. Her portfolio expanded to Group COO in 2014 with the undertaking of M.Y World Preschool as Anchor Operator for childcare. She was promoted to Deputy CEO from January 2020, Acting Group CEO from October 2020 and Group CEO from April 2021.
Veronica joined Metropolitan YMCA in 1 September 2020, bringing with her a wealth of financial and corporate experience in Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, Macau and the United Kingdom, which she uses to serve the Association’s mission of positive community transformation. She is no stranger to the ecumenical space as she was with a global Christian organisation in her past employment. Blessed with a winsome personality, a heart for people and community, she is a firm advocate of using her faith to inform her interactions and transactions and she continues to do so in MYMCA – upholding the values that define the Association, and the principles that guide our work as a faith organisation.
Dr May See joined Metropolitan YMCA on 8 June 1992 as administrator of Metropolitan YMCA Child Care Service. Today, as the Senior General Manager of M.Y World Preschool, a subsidiary of MYMCA, she continues to work closely with our team in providing mentorship to the younger leaders. She is passionate in providing a strong and holistic foundation for children aged 3 years and below. She hopes every one of our M.Y World teachers is a champion for children within her classroom, providing positive interaction, care and affirmation. She believes that it is the warmth relationship that ignites learning.
Jenny joined M.Y World Preschool in 1 June 2017 as Assistant General Manager for preschool operations. With a strong background in operations and customer service across diverse sectors, including retail, telecommunication and call centre, Jenny brings a wealth of experience in operational and service excellence. She is a versatile professional who seamlessly blends operational expertise with customer centric strategies, in driving efficiency and satisfaction. Jenny diversified into Human Resources and directs both portfolios since 2018. She was promoted to General Manager in 2019. Jenny is dedicated to enhancing the preschool operations and ensuring satisfaction for families and staff alike.
Jane joined M.Y World Preschool on 1 April 2020. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education from the National Institute of Education and graduated with First Class Honours for her Degree in Early Childhood Studies, having earlier attained a Merit Diploma in Early Childhood Education as well as a Specialist Diploma in Human Resource Management. Jane’s ground-up experience in the various teaching and senior leadership roles she has undertaken since July 2000 stands her in good stead in understanding the important role leaders and educators play in the provision of a high-quality preschool education. She strongly believes in putting children at the heart of everything we do at M.Y World, and is a strong advocate of reflective practice.
