INTERESTED IN MY World?

We encourage all parents interested in MY World Preschool to register their interest using Child Care Link, the central Registration Management System managed by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA).

The RMS is an online system that aims to bring greater convenience to both parents and child care operators. It is also available in a mobile friendly version and enables parents to search for suitable child care centres for their children and indicate interest to register at their preferred centres. The system also helps child care centres better manage registrations. Parents can register their interest in up to five centres at a time, six months before your desired enrolment date.

As more parents and centres use the system, it will provide ECDA with more comprehensive demand and supply information which helps in the planning of child care capacity.

How to register?

• On the Child Care Link portal, search for "MY World Preschool"
• You may register your interest with up to five centres.
• Fill in your child's age and the type of child care programme desired.

MY World Preschool will receive a notification of your registration. Once there is a vacancy, our staff will contact you.

Once offered a place, you must accept it within seven days. If you choose not to accept, the place will go to the next person on the waiting list. However, you will remain on the waiting list of the other centres you have registered for.

Register your interest in MY World Preschool using the Child Care Link, the central registrations system run by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA). Through it, you may register your interest with up to five centres of your choice, six months before your desired enrolment date.

How much do I need to pay upon registration, including deposit? +

The registration fee is $53.50 (inclusive of GST). The deposit is one month of full day child care fees. The monthly child care fee will vary depending on the age group your child belongs to, and the amount of subsidy you are eligible for. Our staff will be happy to work out the exact amount when you register at the centre.

What subsidies am I eligible for? +

Singaporean citizens enjoy government subsidies for infant care and child care. The amount of subsidy is dependent on the working status of the mother.

Infant care Subsidy
For working mothers - $600
For non-working mothers - $150

Child Care Subsidy (for Playgroup and upwards)
For working mothers - $300.
For non-working mothers - $150

Can I pay by NETS or credit card? How about GIRO? +

You may pay in either cash or cheque. We do not accept payment by NETS or credit card.

You may obtain a GIRO form from the centre to facilitate direct monthly deductions from your child’s Child Development Account. However, GIRO payment is not applicable for the first month, as the bank application will take time.

How about uniforms? How many sets should I purchase? +

The MY World uniform consists of a comfortable dry-fit round collar T-shirt and shorts, featuring our cheery signature colours. We believe it is important for your child to be comfortable, as he/she will be wearing it all day.

We generally recommend that parents purchase 4 sets of uniforms for each child. You may choose to purchase more according to your child's needs.

What qualifications do your teachers possess? +

Because we believe every child deserves a Champion, we groom our teachers to be that Champion your child deserves.

Our teachers are professional educators who are certified or currently pursuing certificates in Infant Care and Early Childhood Education. We meet the requirements set out by ECDA, and this is an important criteria in our being appointed an Anchor Operator.

We carefully select our staff and equip them through ongoing training and skills upgrading. In addition, our experienced principals and senior teachers are constantly mentoring their staff both in the skills arena and in the ethos of MY World Preschool.

Do you provide transport to and from the centre? +

We do not provide any transport as most of the children live near our centres. We strongly recommend that you choose a centre near your home or workplace as this reduces stress for both parent and child.

I am considering to enrol my child in MY World Preschool. Can I visit a centre? +

You are most welcome to visit any of our MY World Preschool centres! Take time to observe the environment of the centre, and feel free to interact with our principal and teachers. Make a decision only when you are assured that it will be the right choice for your child.

I like the centre but I am not sure if my child will. Can I let my child “try out” a centre to see if he/she can get used to it? +

To help your child transit into MY World Preschool, you can let him/her try it out for a two-week trial period.

During this time, fees will apply but will be charged on a pro-rated basis. Should you change your mind about enrolling your child within the two-week period, you can withdraw your child without the usual withdrawal notice period of one calendar month.

The government subsidy will also be applied on a pro-rated basis. However, according to ECDA regulations, for the subsidy to apply, the two-week trial period must fall within the same month. For example, you should arrange for your trial period to be in the last two weeks of September rather than the last week in September and the first week of October.
